Plant a seed and watch it grow...
Spring of 2014 we created a vegetable garden that was planned, planted and protected by the students. We planted a variety of seeds and then transplanted them to above-ground planter boxes.
Raised Garden Bed made from scratch
Now that we're in our new location we've moved our garden with us!!! It didn't take long. With the help of URBAN SEEDLING and our amazing Leadership students we are back up and running!
A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU
We received a very generous donation to encourage our project to grow! The team at "McGill at Work", who focus on the effects of climate change and biodiversity, extended us the necessary funding - you can visit their facebook page to give them a "like" and offer your support.
Working with Urban Seedling is what has kept this project up and alive. What a wonderful organization.
Our garden encouraged all students to care about the environment, while learning how to work together.
